Something attracts. I assume we’re powerless to guess.
We seem innocent. It may be lack of imagination; what the
ordinary world supports.
That vitiation.
Those who sing are well aware that traveling is our
destination. You think you have a guarantee; but old fears
creep… and I am drunk on your lawn before the sun comes up.
You allow this, being generous with moral applause. The
sleepless will.
So superstitious that you believe anything before you
are told.
