Like Lawyers And Other Laymen

Their own worst examples.

You think you prefer to define. You can do nothing else. You shy from the real like certain vampires from light.
You feel safe in your particular darkness.

Contact with the unwashed brings on the denunciation of personal attacks.
Remembering your abhorrence isn’t any reason to contain emotion alive in paper punching-bags.

Chaos unhappily structured to opinion, the eschatological triumph.

A philosophical bone so conspicuously dull and complacently smug that you shrug. It could not be helped.

You did not know which side to choose.
